QR codes you own, not rent

GlyphIQ is a dynamic QR code generator with real-time, privacy-first analytics. The thing that makes it different is the standalone pack — a one-time purchase that lets a single code keep working without a subscription behind it.

Why we built it

On most platforms, a dynamic QR code is something you rent. The moment you stop paying, every code you printed goes dark at once — even the one on packaging that’s already in customers’ hands. That never sat right with us. A code you’ve committed to print should not depend on you remembering to renew a plan forever.

So we built standalone packs: buy a specific code its own scan budget up front, on a fixed 12-month term, and it keeps reaching your destination — for the term and scans you bought — whether or not you keep a subscription. You decide which codes deserve that runway, code by code.

What we stand for

No lock-in. Standalone packs and clear, one-time pricing exist so you’re never held hostage by a renewal. Subscriptions are there if they suit you, never the only way to keep a code alive.

Honesty. No QR service is truly unlimited; most just bury the cap in a fair-use clause. We state a pack’s limits — a 12-month term and a scan quota — before you pay, so you buy exactly what you need. And when a pack runs out, the code isn’t silently deleted: it falls back to a simple page with a single contextual ad and stays reactivatable. That archived page is the one and only place GlyphIQ runs an ad, and the banner says so.

Privacy. The scan path stores no raw IP addresses, sets no cookies, and never profiles the people who scan. Visitors are pseudonymized at collection and location is country-only — details are in our privacy policy and sub-processor list.

Safety. Every destination is screened and rechecked, so a code you trust keeps pointing somewhere you’d be comfortable sending people.

How we write our guides

Our guides answer the questions people actually ask about QR codes — what dynamic codes are, whether codes expire, how scan tracking works — in plain language, without padding. We’re honest about what a code can and can’t do: a static code can’t be edited or tracked, and we’ll say so rather than oversell. When something is a limitation, we name it.

Who runs GlyphIQ

GlyphIQ is built and operated independently. The operator’s details, the terms of service, and the data-protection contacts are published on our terms and privacy pages, so you always know who stands behind the service and how to reach a real person.
